Community at the Heart of BCBH Law’s Mission

    Gabrielle Williams | January 30, 2025

Posted on January 30, 2025February 26, 2025 by Gabrielle Williams

At Bullock Campbell Bullock Harris, PC, community and people come first.

The firm’s guiding philosophy is simple: If you place people first, everything else falls into place. This belief forms the backbone of the firm’s involvement in various volunteer efforts and sponsorships that aim to uplift the local community.

For BCBH Law, serving others isn’t just part of their work – it’s part of who they are.

A Strong Commitment to Local Causes

The founding attorneys and partners of BCBH Law are Angela Bullock, Taylor Campbell, Craig Bullock, and Casey Harris. Over the years, they and the firm have worked with several organizations that align with their values, helping the firm make a positive impact in the lives of many. Some of the notable initiatives include sponsorships with Klein ISD Youth and High School Sports and Fine Arts (Spring, TX) for both boys and girls. From baseball to football and beyond, BCBH Law has been actively involved in supporting youth activities that promote both personal and physical development.

In addition to sports, the firm helped initiate a new PTA at Klein High School (Spring, TX) to better support student activities and provide resources for teachers. Their commitment doesn’t stop there; the firm also partners with Meals on Wheels, ensuring that families in need receive nutritional meals.

Another standout effort is through their work with Young Men’s Service League, where young men and their moms serve the community together. Taylor Campbell’s wife, Mari, and their son, Taylor, along with Angela Bullock and her and Craig Bullock’s son, Dylan, enjoy building and delivering beds for kids in need through YMSL.

Additionally, one of the firm’s attorney’s, Casey Harris, and his wife participate in the Tomball ISD Surrogate Parent Program, serving as surrogate parents in their school district. Through this role, they advocate for children with disabilities. The firm also contributes to the community by participating in Community Christian Legal Aid, a nonprofit that provides legal assistance to individuals in need, regardless of their income.

    Living the Firm’s Core Values

At the heart of everything they do is one simple but powerful core value: Clients are number one. The philosophy extends beyond the office and into the community. By focusing on helping others, the firm has created a ripple effect of positive change that benefits both their clients and the broader community.

Their work has had a profound impact on the youth in the area. Whether it’s through creating safe spaces for children or simply making people feel seen and supported, the firm’s efforts have strengthened community ties and fostered a sense of belonging for all involved.

    Memorable Moments of Giving Back

Some of the most unforgettable experiences for the firm have come through their work with Meals on Wheels.

“Seeing the smiles on families’ faces when we deliver meals or when they are already standing at the door waiting to eagerly greet us as we arrive is always a reminder of why we do what we do,” shares BCBH Law attorney Angela Bullock, one of the firm’s founding partners.

Additionally, the excitement and joy on the faces of children when they see adults involved in their activities through school events or sports sponsorships makes all the effort worthwhile. These moments fuel the firm’s ongoing dedication to their community service projects.

Staff Involvement: A Key to Team Building

Volunteering isn’t just about giving back to the community; it’s also an important part of team building at the firm. Staff members are encouraged to participate in these initiatives as a way to connect outside the office and strengthen bonds.

Whether it’s working together to assemble beds or cheering on kids at a sports event, these experiences foster a spirit of collaboration and mutual support within the firm.

Looking Ahead: A Lasting Commitment to Community

As Bullock Campbell Bullock Harris, PC, looks to the future, the lawyers’ and staff’s dedication to community involvement remains unwavering. By continuing to put people first and supporting causes that uplift and inspire, the firm is committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of their clients, employees, and the community.

Margaret Mead once said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed individuals can change the world. In fact, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

This sentiment rings true for BCBH Law and their ongoing efforts. Their volunteer work and sponsorships, though local in scale, embody the belief that even the smallest acts of kindness can create meaningful change. It’s through these thoughtful, committed actions that they continue to make a difference in the community, one step at a time.
